This Apple Meal Plan uses apples in every meal. 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 5 dinners, and even a few desserts and snacks. Every recipe is using fresh local apples. Perfect way add healthy and delicious apples to any diet!
This post is sponsored by Ontario Apple Growers. All the delicious opinions are my own.
Have you ever gotten over-confident and bought a 6-pound bag of apples at Costco? I know I have. More than once!
Most of the time those apples turn into copious apple pies and snacks. I spend about a week consuming all the fresh apples I can muster and then avoid Costco apples for a few months.
So, I wanted to create an Apple Meal Plan for people who love fresh and local Ontario Apples and end up with pounds upon pounds of them after a shopping trip.
Meal plans help reduce food waste
- Having a meal plan means that there is no food waste, or at least the food waste is reduced as much as possible.
- If you know exactly which recipes you’ll be cooking and what ingredients are needed, then it’s easy to keep food waste to a minimum.
- You can buy only the ingredients you need or “shop your pantry” and come up with a food plan that utilizes everything you already have in the kitchen.

Apple Meal Plan
This Ontario Apple Meal Plan uses up local delicious and healthy apples in every meal. In some recipes apples are a main ingredient, in others – they are just an accent.
Regardless of whether you choose to use all the recipes in this one week apple meal plan or just a few, don’t forget that apples on their own are a delicious and healthy snack. You don’t need any containers or packaging, just throw an apple in your bag and you have a nutritious way to curb the hunger in the middle of a busy day.
This meal plan is grouped by meals and not days, so you can pick and choose whatever works best for you.
