Goat Cheese and Fig Tartlets are an easy and great appetizer. Delicious and perfect combination of sweet, salty, and crispy. Perfect for a festive dinner or party. Great appetizer for Thanksgiving and Holiday Season. Only 4 ingredients and under 30 minutes to make.
Arrange the unbaked (defrosted) puff pastry shells on a sheet pan about 2 inches apart.
Add one tablespoon of goat cheese to the centre of each puff pastry shell.
Cut the figs in half and then slice each half into 3 wedges.
Arrange 3 fig wedges over the goat cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the puff pastry has risen and turned golden colour.
Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the baked Goat Cheese and Fig Tartlets and serve either warm or cold.
Notes
If you don't have puff pastry shells, use regular puff pastry, just roll into a thin sheet and cut into 6 pieces about 3-4 inches in size.You can drizzle the balsamic glaze before baking or after or even twice.
