This Sheet Pan Ham Dinner For Two is made in just one hour from start to finish. Ham steaks, delicious apple sauce, carrots, Brussels sprouts, and even mashed potatoes are made in the oven on one sheet pan. Delicious, festive, and easy.
In a small ramekin, combine the apple jelly, dijon mustard, and orange juice. Mix a little bit but there's no need to fully blend the ingredients together. They'll blend once cooked.
Mashed Potatoes
Peel and dice the potato into 1/2-1 inch pieces. I prefer smaller pieces since they cook better.
Place the potatoes into a small ceramic dish in one layer.
Sprinkle the spices and add pieces of butter to the potatoes.
Heat up the milk until it almost boils. Pour the steaming milk onto the potatoes and cover the form tightly with foil.
Assemble
Place a pan with the potatoes on a large sheet pan.
Place two orange slices onto a sheet pan and cover with two apple slices. Place a ham steak on top. Repeat with the second ham steak.
Add the carrots to the sheet pan, drizzle with the olive oil, lemon juice, and spices. Mix well.
Add the cut up Brussels sprouts to the sheet pan, drizzle with the olive oil, add the spices, and mix well.
Place a ramekin onto the sheet pan.
Add a few sprigs of rosemary to the vegetables.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Once baked, carefully take the foil off the potatoes. Mash with the fork. It will look very thin at first but the milk will absorb into the potatoes and they will get thick and creamy.
Garnish with extra orange slices, apple, slices, chopped parsley, and a few rosemary sprigs.
